If you're like me and don't care much about numbers, hardwares and specs, here's a layman's translation of what the Gionee E6 can do:
- It can be controlled with movement, meaning you don't have to physically touch your phone to answer calls or navigate it when your hands are dirty or pre-occupied with something else.
- Control video playback with your eyes - look away and it pauses, look back to resume.

Aside from what I mentioned above, the E6 also promises to deliver great photos with it's "Picture Clear Technology". A new feature that eliminates passing objects for a clear and precise shot of your subject. It is also supposed to work well in low light settings.

I didn't have the chance to experience the E6 personally but I was given one of Gionee's mid-priced models, the Pioneer P2, to play with. I have been using it for about a day now and judging from its performance, I can deduce that the E6 is a well-worthy adversary.
