Deborah Lippmann created a new textured nail sensation for Fall 2013 of New York Fashion Week. A unique matte look with shimmer from within. Definitely something nobody has seen before. The new texture was such a hit at the show that she decided to make it available for her consumers...
And here it is. Deobrah Lippmann's offering for Holiday 2013.
The Silk Collection.
Named after luxurious silk fabrics from exotic countries and I couldn't think of a better name. Silk truly describes the way these nail lacquers appear on the fingernail.

The Silk Collection for Holiday 2013 is comprised of 3 colors:
- RED SILK BOXERS, a come-hither crimson, donned long, almond-shaped nails creating a seductive mood for the Badgely Mischka show inspired by Hitcock’s Femme Fetale.
- HAREM SILKS FROM BOMBAY, a bodacious boysenberry, coordinated perfectly with the edgy fashion of the Richard Chai show. Both shades were also previewed at Honoe, complementing the modern, elegant look of the show.
- PSEUDO SILK KIMONO completes the Silk Collection, featuring a milky alabaster white that adds a soft, sophisticated element to the collection.

I hardly fall in love with polish but these are an exception.
Not only are they super easy to apply they also dry really quickly and most of the time, a single coat is enough to come up with a highly pigmented look.
Plus, I think the three together would make some really attractive nail art this holiday season.
