ootd: creative color

I have been having so much fun these past few weeks styling outfits around this pair of Memorata by CLN heels.

The colorful peacock print definitely brings out the creative side of me and I made a conscious effort to break away from my usual black and white outfits for a fresh and unusual take.

Being so eye-catching, these shoes are just the right amount of punch a black/white or beige outfit needs but I wanted to challenge myself and play around with the color and print the same way an interior decorator might...by pulling certain shades and applying it in different areas.

With summer fast approaching, I also thought it would be timely to whip out my long kimonos which never fail to lend a bit of drama and a touch of fun to any look.

So here's what I wore to an event yesterday, hope you like!
