Hopefully, the title of my blog post doesn't sound too conceited. It's just the theme of everything I'm wearing. Getting a designer inspired look for very, very little. Let's start from top to bottom. Vintage-inspired Romwe floppy hat which I got for roughly P800/$18 (see HERE). A great buy cause it retains it's shape even after squeezing it into a backpack full of clothes. Next up, sunglasses. I don't really like to skimp on eyewear since they're protective as well and that's quite important especially when you're on the beach. This pair from Nick Automatic cost me less than a thousand but still provides quality UV protection. Lingerie inspired dress from Miss Selfridge. This is actually part of a 2-piece set. It comes with a sheer white blouse to wear under. I got it on sale for P1200, the fabric is great (silk-like) in a luxurious bias-cut plus the over-all effect with the shirt in reminds me of Julie Delpy's outfit in Before Sunrise. Couldn't resist and they go so well with my next item... Birkenstock-like sandals which were a gift from Ana. Birks are so hot right now that most brands have their own interpretations. Some are ridiculously priced (and ridiculously looking as well), but these ones from Carvil, I love. They are just basic which is good and always translates to timeless plus they cost less than a thousand! Bag - Mango Touch but looks A. Wang-ish don't you think? ;) And last, my favorite of all, is my new Voyager watch by Veloci Time in Navy Blue. Looks fantastic against black and stunning when piled against my Pandora bracelets. Even better? The price tag. This gorgeous divers watch with Japanese mechanism and 2 extra straps only retails for 3K+! |

They say a watch can make or break a person's outfit.
This one's sure to compliment all your summer ootd's wether you're a guy or a girl. The nautical look will go so well with monochrome, stripes or bright primary colors.
