For a Philippine Fashion Week first-timer, Petit Monde sure looks like they know what they're doing...
Yesterday's show was divided into four new collections which were all inspired by the Japanese aesthetic:
- Mori "rainforest" - featured leaf prints
- Saku "bloom" - inspired by the Cherry Blossoms of Japan
- Urahara - Japanese streetwear with lots of tribal and geometric prints
- Sekai "world" - Petit Monde's first igh end collection featuring rare prints in luxurious fabrics and modern silhouettes
Their Holiday Collection for 2013 spells effortless chic with a variety of stylish yet relaxed pieces...very up my alley.
Some favorites of mine were the kimonos and wide-leg pants...and of course, the entire Sekai collection which is just really what fashion dreams are made of. Gorgeous!

The highlight of the show were appearances by Maja Salvador, Sunshine Cruz, Ana Roces and Cheska Garcia-Kramer with litte Kendra in tow (oh my heart!!! she is just soooo nakakagigil!!!) all decked out in the finest that Petit Monde has to offer.

Petit Monde sure has come a long way since those printed tees back in the 90s!!!!
