Look of the Day: Embracing the Unflattering Shapes

There must be something wrong with me because lately I've started to deliberately wear more items that are sort of unflattering in the traditional sense. I mean, take the whole 90s trend, or noromcore, or ugly shoe trend - all these things and shapes make you look weird and unsexy, but you can't deny the freedom that comes along. Letting go of the constant pressure to look pretty and polished lets me focus and something new, the world is my oyster :)

Look of the Day: Mixing Textures

 

Hey guys! Sorry for the long radio silence, I simply couldn't bring myself to post the last couple of days with all the atrocity happening in Ukraine.  And thank each one of you who sent me an email or a facebook message of support, I'm extremely touched to know so many of you care, especially those outside of Ukraine! <3

Today has been filled with good news, and even though we have a great deal of work ahead of us, looks like everything will be fine eventually, so I decided to resume posting with this dark shaded outfit I wore last week, which seems very appropriate for the day. I hope you like it!

Look of the Day: Classic Camel

The number of coats in my closet is getting so big they'll eventually choose a leader and take over the apartment, because obviously one room is not enough. But I don't mind as long as long as buying a new coat makes me happy. I've been looking for a classic camel maxi coat for a while, and so far this is the best I could get. Still dreaming about a floor length maxi one, but this winter that one will have to do, especially since I love it so much!

And the hat, notice the hat!! Knitted it myself last week while watching Revenge - it only took me two episodes to get it over with!

Look of the Day: That Time of Year

I bet you all have missed my whining about the weather, so here you go, thank me later! When these pictures were taken it was about -5° C outside and I thought this is the biggest cold I can survive. Well, what do you know, turns out our weather has prepared a surprise for us and this week the temps will drop to -20°! 

So anyways, it's that time of year when I spend more time at home, take fewer outfit pictures and make plans on how to escape the cold.

Look of the Day: Colorful Geometry

 Hey guys! I hope you're having a lovely weekend!

We took these pictures near the Disseny Hub Barcelona - a venue where the Design of the Year festival took place right before we walked in to see the designs. The place seemed like a perfect backdrop but when I checked the pictures on my laptop, I didn't like the colors against each other, so I came up with this "bold" editing solution :D
